Generation is a three-part sculpture with sculptural heads made from bronze, cast iron and stainless steel relating to the North East 'generations' of industrial production.

I originally commissioned the sculpture for the new One NorthEast offices but twelve years later I then worked to broker the sale and relocation of the work to become a set-piece artwork within the new public realm at Newcastle University,  where artist Joseph Hillier had graduated from over a decade before.

The original project was the artists first major commission and was part of a wider arts strategy which I produced with the aim of foregrounding new and emerging artists within the Regional Development Agency offices.
