Iconic site was originally developed by Sans Facon  as a commission for the Centre for the Urban Built Environment, in Manchester. The neon sign was created as a response to the situation of many cities, where a massive wave of new developments were changing the face of familiar urban environments.

I worked to broker and fund Iconic site to be temporarily sited at the new Stephenson Quarter at the start of the regeneration scheme led by Silverlink to create  the Stephenson Quarter behind Newcastle Central Station.
